Description

In 1960 (one year only) Vogue cast a 36", blow molded vinyl, walking doll, rooted hair, blue sleep eyes, jointed neck, arms and legs.  This was a Patti Playpal type doll that was patterned after the Ideal Toy Company doll.  Vogue came out with a 36" doll they called Ginny.  Sculpted by Deet D'Andrade and manufactured by Model Plastic Company.
This 36" Ginny is dressed in a white nylon dress with attached red apron, red collar, red trim on sleeves and white lace trim across apron.  She has white undies, white knit ankle socks and black nylon shoes.  She has soft lashes, heavily shadowed above her bright blue eyes, light brown hair pulled into a ponytail.  Doll is rare and hard to find and recognize as she is unmarked and only manufactured in 1960.  She is in gently played with condition and an absolutely beautiful doll, terrific find.
Note:  She does not walk as her mechanism has broken loose and I can hear it inside the doll when picked up and moved.  I am not going to attempt to take the legs off to see what is inside or if she can be repaired as this can be a delicate procedure for an older doll.  I will leave it up to the new owner to opt to repair or just display her as she is.
Shipping will be based on weight and dimensions as she is a hefty 9 pounds 12 ounce boxed item.  Shipping will be according to your location.
