Sony VO-1600 Industrial Video Recorder

I have not tried to play the unit so I am selling it for parts. Because of the weight it must be picked up in the Phoenix area. Exterior photos show a chipped key and minor rust spots. It was introduced in 1971 and heralded by Sony as "The World's First VCR". I bought my first Sony Betamax in 1976 and it was considerably smaller and lighter than this unit. A great display item I am listing he hard-to-find the TT-100 timer and two recording tapes separately. A piece of history, unknown to most collectors.
