VERY NICE LOOKING ADJUSTABLE VINTAGE TRUCKER STYLE BALL CAP HAT. PROMOTIONAL ITEM FOR THE JERRY LEWIS MDA TELETHON. FORE HAS THE NBC PEACOCK and CHANNEL 13 TOLEDO OHIO LOGO WITH THE LOCAL CALL SIGN LETTERS WTVG (We're TV in the Glass city). TOLEDO WAS and STILL IS A MAJOR WORLD GLASS PRODUCER.
THIS HAT IS LIKELY FROM THE 1980's BECAUSE TV 13 BECAME AN ABC AFFILIATE IN THE EARLY 1990's. IT WAS MADE IN MALAYSIA by SPEEDWAY CO. IT'S AN ADJUSTABLE ONE SIZE FITS ALL HAT. MADE OF SYNTHETIC / MAN MADE MATERIALS (plastic, polyester).
AS TO CONDITION...IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP. THERE ARE SMUDGES / STAINS ON TOP OF THE BILL and ON THE FORE (see pics). SHOULD CLEAN UP NICE. OTHERWISE IT LOOKS GOOD! NO TEARS or HOLES!

SMELL NEW EITHER (it's 30 years old(er) fabric item folks!). COULD NOT SMELL ANYTHING OVERPOWERING or PUNGENT (would not bother to list it if it did) but IF YOU HAVE A KEEN SENSE OF SMELL THAT'S EASILY OFFENDED PLEASE DON'T BID or BUY THIS ITEM.
WE EMPHASIZE THIS BECAUSE WE DON'T USUALLY LIKE TO DABBLE WITH VINTAGE CLOTHING, APPAREL and OTHER MOLECULARLY SUPER POROUS ITEMS. ALMOST INVARIABLY IT'S ODOR THAT IS ALWAYS THE RETURN for REFUND ISSUE WITH SUCH ITEMS (please read disclaimer below).

Note: We generally do not clean our items (especially jewelry) and prefer to just list our items as we find them. Also, please keep scale in mind when viewing smaller items in these greatly magnified pics. These photos are many X's larger than the actual small items and some flaws or perceived flaws are simply not visible in the real world of the 'naked eye'. It may be just some dust or a smudge that you are seeing. You'd be surprised how your own seemingly fine and flawless personal jewelry looks under extreme magnification!

Old, used items often have some issues in terms of condition, function and even smell (some items just have stubborn or lingering smells). We do our best to point out all flaws and try to take crisp clear photos of our merchandise so you know exactly what you will be receiving. But, we may make a mistake occasionally and overlook a flaw or defect. Also, if an item has a particularly pungent smell (usually only an issue with more molecularly porous items made of paper/wood or fabrics/textiles) we will also make note of it in the listing.
Older items will show some signs of wear and age to some degree and may need to be reconditioned, refurbished and restored.
In regard to odors, we know everyone's olfactories are different. That is, smell is a subjective matter and some folks have a 'sniffer' like a bloodhound and some folks have a poor sense of smell. Mine, for example, is probably less than average (sinus issues). If you have a particularly keen sense of smell that is easily offended or if you or someone in your household has chronic health issues such as allergies it may make more sense for you to buy such items first hand.
The point is, and this should go without saying, don't expect old antique / vintage items to look, work and smell like new! Thanks!
