2018 Royal Canadian Mint Silver 3-Coin Lore Set w/ Box, Case, and CoA
Each coin in this three-coin set is 99.99% pure silver, with a diameter of 38 millimetres and a nominal metal weight of 31.39 grams. All three coins feature unused reverse designs by Canadian artist Emanuel Hahn, who proposed them for new Canadian coinage issued in 1937. They include: a 25-cent coin design featuring a polar bear beneath the Aurora borealis in the starry northern sky; another 25-cent coin design featuring a goose in flight, backed by the Big Dipper asterism in the night sky; and a 5-cent coin design featuring a side-profile view of a caribou, also backed by the Big Dipper. The obverse features the effigy of King George VI by T.H. Paget.
